Event: Taxman Loophole

Format: Shamble: 4-man teams (ABCD). All 4 players tee off then choose a tee shot all players will play from. Each player places their ball within one club length of the selected ball no closer to the hole in the same condition (e.g., do not improve from rough to fairway, fairway to green) and plays his own ball under the standard rules of golf until holed. With a Tee Shot on the green, mark the ball within six inches and each player plays from the exact spot of the chosen ball no closer to the hole. Each score is recorded in the app and the lowest three net scores are counted. There is a net double bogey maximum score for each player. Each player must use their tee shots twice per nine holes.

Skins: $80/team - Team skins (cash) lowest 3 net scores total

Scoring: This round is not postable. Official scoring will be done in the USGA Tournament Manager app. Record each player’s gross score. The app will calculate applicable handicap strokes (players will receive 60% of their tournament handicap).

Tees: MGA Tournament Tees unless you qualify for white/gold tees.

Ties: First place ties will go to a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be broken using a scorecard playoff. Back 9, back 6, back 3, then 18th hole.
