Tournament Format and Scoring: 2-Man Best Ball. Each player tees off and plays their own ball under the rules of golf until holed. Each player's score is recorded and the lowest net score of the two counts towards the team score. Net Double Bogey Max.

Official scoring will be done in the USGA Tournament Manager app. Record each player’s gross score. The app will calculate applicable handicap strokes and assign the team score on each hole. Following play, a player from each team needs to confirm their score at the scoring table.
NOTE: 85% of MGA Tournament Handicap will be used.
Skins: Optional Individual Gross and NET Skins Game ($20 for net or gross, or $40 for both, payment taken on Saturday at check in). Each day will represent a different skins game.

Tees: Green Tournament Tees. White and Gold tees are available for those who qualify.
Flights: This event will be 3 Flights based on Two Man Team Combined Handicaps. Proshop credit purposes. Golf of the Year points will still be based on overall standings between all flights.

Ties: First place ties (overall - not flighted) will go to a sudden death playoff using the same format as the tournament. All other ties will be broken using the USGA scorecard playoff rules. Back 9 hole score, last 6, last 3, then 18th hole.
Who is Jimmy Demaret?: Flashy dressing Jimmy Demaret played in 13 events in 1940 and won six of them, including his first of three Masters titles. But his banner year was 1947 when he was both the Vardon trophy winner (69.90) and leading money winner ($27,936). He was named to four Ryder Cup teams, including the 1941 team that did not compete against the British because of the war. Jimmy was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1983. He is generally acknowledged as the Father of the Senior Tour and he and Fred Raphael conceived Legends of Golf in 1978 at Onion Creek a course designed and co-owned by Demaret himself
