MGA Handicap Information
-
An MGA Tournament Handicap is a course index calculated by only counting postable rounds from MGA events such as the Jimmie Demaret, Willard Connolly and Legends. This includes match play advancement rounds should you continue passed the weekend rounds for both individual and team.
NOTE: A black box Index means you do not have enough rounds to qualify for an MGA handicap.
NOTE: The handicaps will be updated on a monthly basis and any tournament rounds played after the “last updated” date will not be calculated here.
-
The MGA Tournament Handicap is calculated the same way as a GHIN index. See USGA content here
The MGA started gathering tournament data from 2022. No rounds before the 2022 MGA season are used for the index.
NOTE: Players will tee off from the green MGA tournament tees unless qualified for the white or gold tees by playing 70% or more of their rounds from those tees.
